چکیده
Abstract The present studies were carried out to evaluate the simultaneous one-pot metabolism of opipramol (IS-opi) and analog (IS-noh) by phase I II enzymes in rat liver microsomes (RLM) as an alternative separate testing with recombinant enzymes. This approach allows for more time-saving cost-effective screening newly discovered drugs. We also considered that lack results II, including UGT, often creates problems correct selection valuable compounds. Moreover, data set is richer contest provides medical scientist determine susceptibility drugs undergo then II. In work, we have shown IS-noh was metabolized vitro oxidation product, which next transformed UGTs glucuronide. showed previously known product changed no reported glucuronidation UDP-glucuronosyltransferases. addition, unlike IS-noh, did not prove be substrate UGTs. Therefore, tricyclic antidepressants depending on structure can trigger a different response after contact UGT Some will metabolize directly UGTs, others only activation

Metabolism of dipropyl disulfide by rat liver phase I and phase II enzymes and by isolated perfused rat liver.
The metabolism of dipropyl disulfide (DPDS), an Allium sulfur compound, was investigated in rat liver cell subfractions and in an isolated perfused rat liver. DPDS is oxidized to dipropyl thiosulfinate (DPDSO) by rat microsomes. The contribution of cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYPs) or flavin-containing monooxygenases (FMO) to the formation of DPDSO from its precursor was investigated. In rat micro...
متن کاملMetabolism of apigenin by rat liver phase I and phase ii enzymes and by isolated perfused rat liver.
The metabolism of apigenin, a low estrogenic flavonoid phytochemical, was investigated in rat using liver models both in vitro (subcellular fractions) and ex vivo (isolated perfused liver). In vitro, phase I metabolism led to the formation of three monohydroxylated derivatives: luteolin which was the major metabolite (K(m) = 22.5 +/- 1.5 microM; V(max) = 5.605 +/- 0.090 nmol/min/mg protein, mea...

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
